Finding A Quinceanera Photographer
Hiring a photographer is much like hiring a videographer. You need to do the same investigative work to determine exactly what you are and are not getting for your money. Ask about travel fees, time available for the rate quoted (you don't want the photographer to leave before all the good stuff).
When interviewing photographers for your quinceanera, be sure you understand exactly what the quoted price covers. It can be rather difficult to compare the prices of several photographers as they do not all price their services in the same way. You'll need to know if you have to pay for the professional's time, if you have to buy a minimum number of prints or videos, and if you will have to pay any travel costs. If the photographer requires you to buy a package, find out exactly what comes with the package and what services you will be required to pay for beyond the package. Find out how long it takes for the final product to be finished and how you can view proofs of the completed project before selecting the shots you want.
Before you hire anyone, get references from previous customers and look at several different samples of the photographer's past work. Check with the Better Business Bureau to see that the company does not have any customer complaints against it and do a quick Internet search to see if any customers have written about serious problems with the vendor.
