Flowers are a simple yet stunning way to decorate both the church and the reception hall. Use flowers liberally. The best way to save money on flowers is to use flowers that grow in your area and use them when they are in season.

Take a floral arranging class or buy a book and see if you can't do some of the flowers yourself. Some types of arrangements are rather forgiving and don't need much work at all.
