Seating Arrangements

You might not think to tell your guests where to sit, but ensuring that all guests have a place at a table makes it more pleasant for them. You don't want anyone to get upset because he can't sit with his whole family.

When making seating arrangements, you have two options. You can assign the seats by leaving placecards at each setting or you can simply name the tables and tell guests the name of their table. Name the tables in keeping with your themes. If you're doing a tropical theme, for example, give each table the name of a tropical island.

You'll need a way for guests to find their seating assignment. Either have a diagram available or a list for them to search. Be sure to ask a volunteer to man the seating assignments table to help guests find the correct seat.
